Select Social from the Project menu of Woodford to set up chat and activity feeds.

Chat

The Chat function is available for installations with Dynamics and Resco CRM server.

Activity feeds

Activity feeds are available with Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Prerequisites

To be able to enable the activity feeds on the Mobile CRM, you need to make sure you have a working activity feeds solution on your Dynamics CRM server. Please see your Dynamics documentation for information about how to set it up.

Set up in Woodford

Enabling activity feeds:

  1. Edit an app project.
  2. Select Social from the Project menu.
  3. Enable activity feeds and save changes.

Add feeds to the home screen:

  1. Edit an app project.
  2. Select Home from the Project menu.
  3. Add the entity Activity Feeds to your home.

Add Wall to the entity's Edit form to see all news assigned to the currently opened record.

  1. Open the Edit or Contact Information Form, for example for the Account entity
  2. Click Add Wall button on the toolbar (in case of the Contact Information Form, click on the Form prior to the last step).
  3. Save the changes and publish them.
Note Activity feeds work only in online mode.
