Data model explorer is a tool for Woodford administrators and support providers. It provides an overview of the tables used in your app project. At a glance, you can identify large tables with many columns and review their conflict resolution or synchronization strategies.
How to use data model explorer?
- Edit an app project in Woodford.
- Select Settings > Data Model Explorer from the Project menu.
- Use the search function to filter the listed tables quickly. The field searches for a matching substring in display names and logical names of the entities.
- Use the filter function to filter results according to entity properties, conflict resolution strategy, sync strategy, parent entity, or sync filter.
- Click a column header to sort the tables.
Identify unused fields
The Unused Fields column displays the number of fields that could be potentially disabled from the data model used in the mobile apps. Disabling unused fields speeds up synchronization and saves storage space on the device. To disable the fields, either go to a particular entity and disable them manually, or use the Check usage function and disable them en bloc.
